Pusdik Digital Transformation Platform
Role & duration: Software Engineer / IT Consultant (January to October 2025) for Pusdik, Kementerian Pertanian Indonesia.
TL;DR
- Problem: Quality audits and lecturer promotions across 7 agricultural polytechnic campuses were manual, offline, and threatened by travel budget cuts.
- Solution: Two integrated platforms (SIAMI & SIPENA) to digitize academic quality assurance and lecturer promotions nationwide.
- Impact: Estimated hundreds of millions of rupiah saved by eliminating in-person cross-campus audits.
The Challenge
Pusdik oversees academic quality and lecturer promotion across 7 agricultural polytechnic (Polbangtan) campuses nationwide. Neither process had an integrated system. Internal quality audits (audit mutu) ran entirely offline as in-person cross-campus visitations, right as the travel budget funding those visits was being cut. At the same time, lecturer promotion assessments were coordinated manually on a campus-by-campus basis.
What I Built
I built two systems to replace these offline processes:
- SIAMI (Audit Mutu Internal): An internal quality assurance system featuring finding classification, online visitation workflows, role-based auditee access, self-assessment checklists, centralized templates with upload validation, and a submission-progress dashboard.
- SIPENA (Penilaian Angka Kredit Dosen): A lecturer promotion assessment system backed by a single, unified cross-institution lecturer database.
The Impact
- Cost Savings: Estimated hundreds of millions of rupiah saved by replacing in-person cross-campus audits with a system-based process.
- Zero Travel Audits: Moved the entire audit process in-system across all 7 campuses, replacing physical cross-campus visitations.
- Better Preparation: Self-assessment checklists allow institutions to catch gaps before auditors visit. Centralized templates with upload validation catch formatting errors at submission, not during the audit.
- Self-Serve Access: Auditees can now access their own audit results directly for internal follow-ups, rather than requesting them via a central admin.
- Unified Promotions: Promotion workflows and lecturer records are now centralized and standardized across all institutions.
